ok, so i've gotten pretty far on my sweater today.but...i'm really not liking it. it's the pink and the light gray that doesn't look right to me. so i decided to rip it apart and just do the light and dark grays only. the sweater is supposed to be in 4 colors, but i think these two will look great together.besides, i have three skiens of the pink and i can probably do a sweater with those.

all day yesterday was spent rewriting the pattern to fit me. i had to make it smaller and a little longer. the size small was a 34" bust. since the deep v neck was so deep, i wanted it to be smaller for the chest, which was 32". and i had to make the arm hole not so deep. and the sleeves smaller. so i finally cast on yesterday and here it is. it's a thick/thin yarn. you can tell here

so i'm now making a hat that's reversible. gray and white. the white side will have this st called daisy.the gray side will be done in butterfly st.i got all this from this book from 1963.now if this works out like i want, which ever side you wear, you can get a peak of the other color through the holes. i also want to put this up as a pattern to buy.
