wind your own skein!!

i used a size 35 needle. simply start by looping your yarn, leaving about a 4" tail

place it on the needle as so...wrap around needle and top of loop, covering it so it won't slip as you work.

wind down the needle

wind to your prefered length you want for the skein itself

now the tricky part. this is hard to explain. you just have to mess with it to get it right. starting at the end you stopped winding at, make a large spiral up the needle and then back down. fiddle with where the yarn crosses over. i made mine so that it has three crosses on this side and two on the other.

what i did to make this easy was place the pointy side on my stomach and just rotating the needle clock wise. as you rotate, you follow where the other spirals landed, like so. and you just keep going!! hope you like!
